Don Buford Educational Sport Institute (ESI) Baseball Camp

Don Buford Educational Sport Institute (ESI) held a Baseball Camp for Middle School students in Compton at Dominguez High. Students from Whaley, Walton, Enterprise, Bunche, and Willowbrook Middles Schools attended. ESI coaches had an opportunity to introduce baseball to the students, and they worked out with drills and activities from 9 am to 12 pm. Don Buford, George Hinshaw, Coach Kim, Doug Takaragawa, Doug Allen, Darrel Jackson, and several other coaches and former MLB players came out to help. CUSD Director of Special Programs Ja Maiia Bond helped to organize the baseball camp.
