New Owners at Compton Grocery Outlet Meet & Greet the Community

Gary and Kathy Naylor are the new independent owners of the Compton Grocery Outlet. Having recently moved into the community, they wasted no time in reaching out to connect with locals. On Monday, July 21, 2025, they hosted a meet-and-greet event, inviting community members to get to know them. Many residents attended and enjoyed the festivities, which included a raffle with a chance to win a BBQ and several free giveaways.

The Naylor family is very friendly and has shown a great deal of gratitude and happiness about being at the Compton Grocery Outlet. Gary Naylor brings over 30 years of experience in the retail business and is excited to own his store. Today, that dream has become a reality. Gary, who grew up in Los Angeles, is familiar with the community. He said, “We took over this store, and we’re trying to embed ourselves into the community. Eugene, the former owner, was a wonderful person. We are happy to be here now, and we are committed to doing a good job and embracing the community in the same way Eugene did. Gary encourages everyone to come in, meet them, shake their hand, and ask questions if they need anything. “I will try my best to stock what you need. We are here to do a good job and serve the community,” he stated.
