Legends of Basketball Host “Day of Giving” Youth Basketball Clinic in South Los Angeles

On Saturday, February 14th, during the NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, a remarkable community resource fair, the Day of Giving, took place at the Obama Center. This free, family-friendly event emphasized health, wellness, and youth empowerment by offering health screenings, wellness education, access to community services, and a Youth Basketball Clinic led by esteemed AAU coaches and basketball legends.

  Hosted by the Legends of Basketball in partnership with the Brotherhood Crusade and other dedicated community partners, including Los Angeles City Council District 10, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, AAU coaches, and NBA, WNBA, and Harlem Globetrotters icons, the event inspired hope and connection.

The Day of Giving united families, health professionals, and community leaders to promote healthy lifestyles, enhance access to vital services, and celebrate the incredible power of sports and community engagement.
