On June 6, the Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center in the heart of Leimert Park was filled with laughter, fellowship, and unforgettable performances as comedians from across Southern California came together for an incredible evening of entertainment. Presented in partnership with Concerned Black Men of Los Angeles. The event was more than just a comedy show—it was a celebration of resilience, talent, and community.

The audience was treated to a lineup of hilarious comedians.

Stroke survivor and comedian Margo Evans opened the evening with warmth, charisma, and a set that immediately connected with the crowd. As the host of her own comedy show at The Meeting Spot in Inglewood.

Professional barber and comedian Dwight “The Barber” proved that great storytelling isn’t limited to the barber chair. His performance had the audience laughing from beginning to end, making him one of the night’s standout acts.

Local comedy favorite T. Mary once again demonstrated why she has become such a beloved figure in the Southern California comedy scene.

At 76 years young, BET Comic View legend Honest John showed everyone why experience matters. Bringing decades of comedy wisdom and impeccable timing to the stage.

A Los Angeles comedy legend with over 30 years in the business, Keith “Look Around” Morris closed the show in spectacular fashion. Having shared stages with entertainment icons including Robert Townsend and Katt Williams, Morris delivered a masterclass in crowd work and stage presence.

Serving as both host and producer, Louis TreLuv Smith guided the evening with professionalism, humor, and vision. A BET Comic View All-Star, Dry Bar Comedy performer, certified Peer Support Specialist, Army veteran, and longtime entertainer.

Concerned Black Men of Los Angeles is strengthening the one on one mentorship, community programs and providing leadership for the future.

And judging by Keith Morris’s question, everyone is already looking forward to the next one.
