Compton Career Fair Attracts Thousands of Job Seekers
The HIRE Group successfully hosted its HIRE360 Diversity Hiring Expo at the Dollarhide Community Center on Wednesday, drawing an overwhelming turnout of over 1,500 job seekers, making it one of the largest hiring events ever held at the venue.
The event brought together approximately 45 employers and organizations, all actively hiring and engaging with candidates across a wide range of industries, including transportation, government, staffing, construction, and community services.

The overwhelming turnout caused lines to wrap around the building, with attendees arriving early and staying throughout the duration of the event. Due to the high volume, the event was extended beyond its scheduled time.

While the City of Compton supported the event by allowing the use of its logo, the full coordination, employer outreach, and execution of the event were led entirely by The HIRE Group, a privately funded organization dedicated to workforce development and community impact.
