BEN CRUMP’S EQUAL JUSTICE NOW HOLDS 3RD ANNUAL AWARDS CEREMONY
Attorney Benjamin Crump hosted the Equal Justice Now annual awards ceremony on Friday, March 29, at 7 p.m., at Los Angeles Airport Marriott Hotel located at 5855 W. Century Blvd.
This event celebrated the achievements of those who have significantly impacted society and helped promote justice and equality in the United States throughout the past year. The honorees included TV and music star Cher, music legend George Clinton, entertainer Al B. Sure, media mogul Armstrong Williams, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, Judge Greg Mathis, Richland County Corporal Kenny Fitzsimmons and many more. Actor and rapper Terrence J served as the celebrity host. Equal Justice Now is a nonpartisan, nonprofit social welfare organization that assists to falsely arrested, wrongfully detained, and unrightfully convicted mothers and fathers, sons and daughters.
It serves as a beacon of light and a source of hope for anyone who has experienced the shortcomings of our imperfect justice system. Equal Justice Now aims to engage, motivate, and lead the fight for citizens’ rights, helping individuals collectively improve our nation. The organization also brings people together by sharing the burdens of false accusations, guilt before innocence, and ultimately wrongful incarceration, seeking to correct the wrongs of systemic failures in our criminal justice system.
