Fontana Mayor Swears In Exchange Club of Fontana Officers
Mayor Acquanetta Warren swears in the Exchange Club of Fontana 2024 office holders. On Saturday, July 27th, during a Luau-style ceremony and dinner party, the Fontana Mayor joined the festivities. She read in the Exchange Club members taking the lead for a new year of community activities and fundraising. Along with Mayor Warren, County Supervisor Jesse Armendarez, a member of the Exchange Club, took part in the installation ceremony.
Brock Champion was elected president for another year and will serve from 2024-2025. He has done an incredible job this past year, and he looks forward to the new challenge of another term.
Exchange is an all-volunteer, national service organization of men and women who serve their community. The Fontana Exchange Club is known for the Fontana Days Parade and Festival, the Fontana Christmas Parade, and the MLK Day of Service.
Exchange Club of Fontana is one of nearly 600 clubs with more than 15,000 members across the United States and Puerto Rico who sponsor various activities to improve their communities. The first National Exchange Club was formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1911. The organization’s goal is to become the premier service club in America by igniting the spirit of community service throughout the nation.
