Yuko Mabuchi Releases New Album Never Out of Style on SRG Jazz Records

LOS ANGELES, CA – July 2026 – Acclaimed pianist, composer, and performer Yuko Mabuchi has released her new album, Never Out of Style, available now through SRG Records.
The eleven-track collection brings together Mabuchi’s jazz roots, infectious grooves, lyrical piano expression, and distinctive personal style in a project that feels both contemporary and true to who she is as an artist.
Never Out of Style arrives with strong momentum behind it. The album includes “Ethereal,” written by Jeff Lorber and Claude Villani. Originally released as a single on February 14, 2025, the song was warmly received by smooth jazz radio. The album also features “Paradiso,” another Lorber-Villani composition, released as a single in February 2026.
“Waves” is currently leading the album campaign, while “Mr. G” is being supported at radio in connection with the album’s release.
Throughout the project, Mabuchi combines expressive melodies, rhythmic vitality, and contemporary jazz appeal. “Étouffée,” written with Welton Gite, celebrates New Orleans cuisine and Mabuchi’s love of gourmet culture. The title track, “Never Out of Style,” written by Preston Glass, T. Haynes, and Yuko Mabuchi, reflects on the people, values, and experiences that remain meaningful through changing fashions, relationships, and time.
“This album brings together a lot of different ideas,” says Mabuchi. “Because there were different writers involved, each song has its own space and personality. I like that. It feels honest, and it represents different sides of where I am musically.”
The album also includes “Twist of Fate,” a reflection on the unexpected turns that shape a life and career; “158 Rue Chanson,” built around a 15/8 groove and a smoky, film-noir atmosphere; “Sunspot,” written by Devin Thomas; and the Mabuchi originals “Whodat” and “Yahoo.”
With Never Out of Style, Mabuchi presents a wide-ranging musical statement that honors her jazz foundation while embracing fresh collaborations, contemporary production, and the freedom to continue evolving as an artist.
