Compton Community Health Fair

Compton, CA – Health Matters Clinic will present a health and wellness fair on Saturday, February 4th at the Grocery Outlet at 2175 E Rosecrans Ave. Compton, CA 90222.
The fair will take place from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. and will offer a wide range of free screenings, free food distribution, and resources. There will also be giveaways.
“Screenings help identify problems early on and we want Compton residents to have an opportunity to do just that. We want to share the resources and information necessary for them to be the healthiest, happiest versions of themselves,” said Erica Robinson. “I encourage residents to take advantage of this fair that is being sponsored by LA Care Health Plan at no cost to community members.”
Free screenings available at the fair will include:
- Blood Pressure
- Cholesterol
- Obesity
- Diabetes
- Depression
- and More
Local business partners offering services include:
- Health Matters Clinic’s volunteer licensed medical professionals will provide routine health screenings and COVID-19 vaccine and booster information.
- SANO Vein and Vascular & SANO Healthcare Consultants will be provide heart health screenings
- Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health will provide mental health resources and information.
- And resources and information from more local health organizations.
